Prek Teacher Assistant

Jill has worked as a teacher assistant in both the 3-year-old and 4-year-old classrooms since fall of 2018.  She stayed committed to serving our children and families through an administration transition in January of 2019.  Her commitment to Cornerstone Kids Preschool highlights just how much she loves working with young children and their families. Jill has an Associates of Arts Degree from Phoenix College and has worked off and on in education for 17 years.  She also has an American Sign Language (ASL) certificate of pre-employment, which allowed her to work with learning disabled children for 5 years.  She currently uses ASL to teach children to sign classic songs such as, “Jesus Loves Me.”  Jill is highly creative and artistic and shares her talents with children through crafting and imaginative play.  Jill brings to life Bible stories by using her crafting talent to help reinforce what children are taught.  Jill is married to her husband, Levi, and together they have one son and one daughter.  In her free-time Jill loves to craft, play with her children, hang out with her two dogs, and ride her Harley.
